T-Mobile Call Forwarding Instructions

T-Mobile’s business phone systems deliver affordable, cloud-based voice, video, messaging, and contact center solutions. And, your team at Abby Connect has worked with T-Mobile for over fifteen years. We know that T Mobile phone systems work well with our call handling options and we can easily assist your call forwarding instructions if needed.

In this article, we’d like to take you through the steps you’ll need to take in order to properly forward your business line(s) with T-Mobile. So, without further ado, let’s move FORWARD with T-Mobile, together.

Note: To forward with T-Mobile, you’ll need your unique forwarding number. If unsure of your forwarding number, look for your Trial Activation Email or contact your Abby Connect CSM.

T-Mobile Call Forwarding: Let’s Get Started!

Forward Incoming Calls:

  • Dial *72 or 72# and listen for dial tone.
  • Enter *72 or 72# followed by your forwarding number.  (e.g., *72-702-123-4567)
  • Wait for the confirmation tone.
  • After the confirmation tone, the system will automatically place a call to the number to which calls will be forwarded.
  • If the forward-to party (Abby Connect) answers the call, the feature is activated.

Call Forwarding Unconditional:

Immediately forwards all calls to Abby Connect without allowing the device to ring.

  • From the Home Screen, select Menu.
  • Scroll to and select Settings.
  • Scroll to and select Call Settings.
  • Scroll to and select Call Forwarding.
  • Select Voice Calls.
  • Select All VoiceCalls.
  • Select Activate.
  • Choose Forward to Another Number.
    • Select to New Number.
    • Enter your forwarding number.
  • Select Options, and then select Done.
  • Finally, select OK.

Call Forwarding Conditional:

Forwards incoming calls to Abby Connect if you do not or cannot answer them.

  • From the Home Screen, select Menu.
  • Scroll to and select Settings.
  • Scroll to and select Call Settings.
  • Scroll to and select Call Forwarding.
  • Select Voice Calls.
  • Select Forward All Conditional Calls.
  • Select Activate.
    • Select to New Number.
    • Enter your forwarding number.
  • Select Options, and then select Done.
  • Scroll to select how much time elapses before the incoming call is forwarded. (One ring is equal to about 6 seconds)
  • Select OK.

Note: If you receive an ‘Unfinished’ error message, you need to turn off unconditional forwarding. Select All Voice Calls, and then select Deactivate.
