Open Positions at Abby Connect
What you will do:
Abby Receptionists are responsible for providing a premium service experience to our clients’ callers. An Abby receptionist is our clients’ receptionists, an extension of their offices that afford them the ability to stay present to their business at hand while we handle incoming calls in the client’s preferred manner. We are currently looking for full time energetic, friendly receptionists to add to our growing company. We function in a very fast-paced environment, the successful candidate must be reliable and dependable.
Essential Skills:
- Create excellent caller experiences that make meaningful connections with customers and callers
- Be outgoing, professional, and have a friendly personality
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proper grammar and spelling
- Ability to clearly communicate with diverse audiences via phone and email
- Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment using multiple technologies between two computer screens
- Professional demeanor and respect for team members, contributing to a diverse and vibrant workplace
- Be coachable, take direction and constructive feedback in a positive way
Qualifications/Skills:
- 1-3 years in a customer service role in a fast-paced premier setting focusing on a great experience
- Able to consistently handle at least 150 incoming calls daily
- Able to sit for long hours at a time
- Must be computer literate using Microsoft Office, and web-based systems
- Type at least 45 words per minute
- Able to work some holidays
- Willing to submit to a drug and background check

What You Will Do:
- Act as a senior resource, advising on best practices, taking a leadership role in projects and process improvements, and partnering with senior leaders across the organization to discover potential solutions to business problems.
- Lead requirements gathering, user story refinement, and effort estimation exercises for all requested changes or proposed projects.
- Engage directly with departmental leaders and stakeholders to derive requirements and business needs for existing and future functionality, translating them appropriately into technical specifications.
- Engage directly with external vendors, partners, and contractors to collaborate on design, scoping, implementation, testing, and documentation of Salesforce-connected solutions or applications.
- Develop standard (out-of-the-box), moderately tailored, and fully custom solutions and enhancements to support business processes across the organization while maintaining system integrity and taking ownership of quality standards and the architectural consistency of solutions.
- Maintain, enhance and champion technical standards around Salesforce development, quality assurance, code deployment, and change management.
- Manage post-deployment activities including knowledge transfer, process documentation, defect resolution, and support for future projects leveraging deployed solutions.
- Act as the hands-on primary developer of solutions using key Salesforce core programming languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, RestAPIs)
- Assist with integrations between Salesforce ecosystem products as well as other internal and external systems as needed.
- Monitor the platform and respond quickly to identified issues.
- Maintain custom Apex code and Visualforce pages, both current and legacy
- Keep abreast of new Salesforce.com products, features, and functionality, and provide recommendations for process improvements or enhancements to the current state.
- Proactively engage team members to evaluate Salesforce platform release announcements, mitigating impacts ahead of releases and partnering with stakeholders where workflow changes are implicated.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Minimum three years of experience with Salesforce technologies (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, SOQL, etc.)
- Experience in Salesforce administration and setup (custom objects, managing users, working in sandboxes, deployment of changesets, etc.).
- Experience working with APIs and integrations.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Familiarity with VS Code, version control, and Jira (or other ticketing systems).
- Certified Salesforce Developer (DEV-401, DEV-501)
- Ability to interact effectively with senior members of management.
- Ability to work and collaborate as part of a team, but comfortable driving toward solutions with minimal supervision.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
- A documented history of successfully completed projects.
